A manicure is a cosmetic beauty treatment for the fingernails and hands. A manicure treatment can be just for the hands or nails, or can be for both.
A manicure will improve the texture and health of both the nails and the skin of your hands, as well as leaving them looking polished and perfect.
Belinda's Manicure will:
- Clean, shape, strengthen and paint your nails
- Attend to any skin problems you might have around the nail, such as broken or sore skin
- Use acupressure and hand-massage techniques to stimulate the blood and lymph flow to improve the health of your skin
- Use a specialised cream exfoliate, cleanse and improve the texture of your nails and the skin of your hands.
You also have the option of adding paraffin wax or a masque to your treatment to get a longer last effect. This is particularly beneficial to those who have very dry cracked skin.

Pedicure
A pedicure is a way to improve the appearance of the feet, and their nails just like your hands.
Your feet do a lot of work everyday, and need looking after just like your hands and body.
Belinda's Pedicure will:
- Begin with a therapeutic foot soak in warm water with added moisture and cleansing properties.
- Your cuticles will be removed, and your toenails cut and shaped, using oils to soften them beforehand.
- An exfoliating rub with a foot scrub is used to slough off dead skin.
- Creams and aromatherapy oils will be massaged into your feet to refresh and soften your skin. A reflexology-based foot massage is used to help relax you.
You also have the option of adding paraffin wax or a masque to your treatment to get a longer last effect. This is particularly beneficial to those who have very dry cracked skin.
Paraffin Wax treatments
A luxurious way of intense moisturising of the hands and feet making them feel refreshed, especially if you have very dry skin - and looking great. The intensive hand and foot treatment may be especially useful before a big day, such as a wedding or gala evening.
This treatment may also be beneficial combined with an aromatherapy facial or a back neck and shoulder massage. treatment.
The procedure (for hands and feet) is that they applied the paraffin wax by a brush that is dipped into the wax, which is held at around 50 degrees. When removed, the paraffin sets, retaining the heat and this warms, soothe and moisture. The hands or feet are placed in a plastic liner and then into special mittens or socks to retain the warmth and intensify the miniaturisation process. After 15 minutes, all is removed and the procedure is completed with a light massage and the application of a suitable day cream.
